He wears this sweater daily when at home, completing any house projects etc. This piece of clothing has seen paint, caulk, glue, sweat, blood and tears. I’ve tried to get rid of it multiple times, I’ve washed it with hot water, hoping it would shrink. I was hiding it in the house, I even left it purposely in our daughter’s house. Somehow it always finds his way back into his closet. I can buy him a new sweater and declare it the new home clothing, nope it has to be this old piece. Even our cat is now crazy about it. |

She writes: It’s hard enough that my husband doesn’t support the heartbreak that comes with being a Buffalo Bills fan but it’s even worse that he owns this San Fran 49’ers jacket, that’s reminds me that the Niners have actually won super bowls. However, I am quite positive that this jacket was made after their last win….in 1994!!!!

I am writing on behalf of my husband of almost 30 years. He doesn’t realize it, but he needs to get rid of this suit he bought for his niece’s wedding next month in NYC. He thinks he got a GREAT deal on it, and it only cost $39.99.
He thinks it is “sharp” looking, and I think I’m going to gouge my eyes out with a sharp stick if he actually wears this to what is going to be a very fancy, classy wedding.
I even went so far as to tell him that Denny Terio called and wants his dance fever jacket back, and he took that as a compliment.
I’m really hoping that a gift card to Charney’s will help him realize that there are suits out there he can look very handsome in, instead of looking like the inside of a casket w/ crushed velvet in it.
