The Goo Goo Dolls took over Lakeview Amphitheater Friday night with opener Phillip Phillips. The show proved that the Goo’s still can still put on a great performance after over 11 albums and countless shows. They opened their set with a new song off their latest EP, You Should Be Happy and played hits like “Slide”, “Broadway”, “Black Balloon”, and “Iris”. Johnny and Robby took fans back in time playing a few songs off early album Superstar Car Wash and even reminisced about playing at The Lost Horizon when they started out in the 80’s.
