The Tooth Fairy paid an average of $4.13 per tooth last year, down 11% from 2016.  Kids in the western half of the U.S. did the best at $4.85 a tooth, followed by the Northeast, $4.35 . . . the South, $4.12 . . . and the Midwest, just $3.44.
