A 65 year-old Orangeburg County, South Carolina grandfather recently picked up the wrong grandchild at school. KPLC claims Joe Fuller went to the school and spotted a young boy, who he thought was his grandson. He gave the boy a hug and signed him out at the front office. Joe gave the boy a Happy Meal and drove home. His wife immediately noticed that he had picked up the wrong child. The Fullers immediately returned the child to school and apologized.

The boy’s father, Darrin Presley, tells KPLC: “If they didn’t bring him back my son could’ve been gone. It’s gross negligence on the school’s part. My thing is, you know, have a prevention so this could never happen again.”
