The untitled comedy will feature Vernon Chatman as the primary writer, with PgLangās Dave Free set to produce the film alongside Lamar. Little information is available about the cast, but the plot follows an African-American intern discovering his white girlfriendās ancestors were slave owners of his relatives. Despite the projectās delay, Lamar is still having a big year in 2025, winning Grammys for Song of the Year and Record of the Year, headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, and scoring a Billboard No. 1 album with GNX that generated multiple chart-topping hits on the Hot 100.
